Conor McGregor has thanked Khamzat Chimaev for his offer to "beat up" Khabib Nurmagomedov.
McGregor has endured a long-term rivalry with Nurmagomedov which came to a head in the cage during a historic duel at UFC 229 in 2018.
But the Irishman was submitted in devastating fashion which sparked a furious brawl between the pair and their teams.
Yesterday, Chimaev tweeted to McGregor: "Let’s make big drama show," along with a picture of the two fighters.
In response McGregor posted on Twitter: "Bratha, no problem. I appreciate you reaching out to the team in 2018 to come and help me beat up the little scared pigeon b****.
"Chechnya knows! F**k those eagles MMA pu*****, we are Akhmat MMA! Smash them up we will! Let’s go! The Mac and Akhmat! We take no s***! Never peace."

McGregor added the context of Chimaev offering to help after McGregor's sparring partner Artem Lobov was "attacked" by Nurmagomedov with his friend Islam.
McGregor then attacked a bus carrying the Russian by throwing a steel trolley through the window at the Barclays Center after UFC 223 took place.
McGregor has continued his feud with Nurmagomedov to the present day and aimed a raft of tweets at the Russian including at his late father.
All of the deleted assaults prompted an angry reaction from Nurmagomedov who continues to voice his loathing for the Irishman even after his retirement.
Chimaev could be considered a new rival of McGregor's if the Dubliner returns to the welterweight division.
After suffering from a long-term fight with coronavirus, Chimaev made a successful return to the cage last weekend when he defeated Li Jingliang at UFC 267.

As a result he is now ranked 10th in the 170lb division which McGregor has been touted to return to on his comeback from a broken leg injury.
Waiting for him at welterweight could be a huge trilogy with Nate Diaz who he fought twice during 2016 avenging his defeat early in the year with a decision victory five months later.
But it looks more likely that McGregor will return to 155lbs in a bid to revive his career with the hope of potentially challenging Poirier for a fourth and final time.
And he has been called out by the likes of Tony Ferguson and Michael Chandler on his return which is likely to generate huge interest.
Chandler has reiterated his desire to take on an "electrifying" dust-up with the Irish star and believes it will be an entertaining fight for the fans.
"I mean, Conor, I hope he heals up pretty well," Chandler told Helen Yee Sports. "Yeah, there’s a lot of people that have talked about me and Conor fighting for a very long time.
“I do think it will be one of the most electrifying, especially first rounds, ever.
"We will both come in 100 miles an hour and look to see who gets that win, but we'll see and I hope that fight happens sometime."
