Conor McGregor news: Video emerges appearing to show UFC fighter punching elderly man in Dublin pub

Video footage has emerged showing the shocking moment Conor McGregor appears to punch an elderly man in a Dublin pub.

In the video obtained by TMZ, McGregor can be seen clearly hitting an elderly punter with his left hand.

The incident allegedly happened at the Marble Arch pub in Drimnagh on April 6.

The clip appears to show the MMA star pouring his Proper 12 whiskey into a number of glasses at the bar.

When he places a glass in front of the alleged victim, the man appears to refuse it and places it away from him.

McGregor then places a second glass in front of the man and he again puts it away from him.

The former two-weight UFC champion then appears to say something to the man before apparently striking him some three minutes later after raising a toast to the pub.

McGregor is then escorted out of the pub by a number of people, while the woman behind the bar puts her hands to her face apparently in a look of shock.

A source at the time said that before the alleged incident, someone approached McGregor, saying: “The Russian battered you.”

This was a jibe over Khabib Nurmagomedov, the Russian fighter who beat McGregor in a fight for the UFC lightweight title last October.
