Conor McGregor, Nate Diaz reheat rivalry: ‘You couldn’t even win your own belt they made for you’

The rivalry between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz was reignited Wednesday on Twitter.

McGregor (22-5 MMA, 10-3 UFC) and Diaz (20-12 MMA, 15-10 UFC), who have one of the most notable two-fight series in UFC history and split results with a win each, showed there is still no love lost between them.

The exchange was prompted by McGregor, who after pitching the idea that his expected trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier this summer should be for a custom belt, took some shots at Diaz and the “BMF” title he fought for against Jorge Masvidal at UFC 244 (via Twitter):
