Conor McGregor meets rugby giant Eben Etzebeth as family holiday moves to Corsica

Conor McGregor met rugby giant Eben Etzebeth as the UFC star's family holiday moved on to the island of Corsica.

The Notorious was dwarfed by the 6′ 8″ rugby player who won the World Cup with South Africa last year.

Posting the picture on his Instagram, Etzebeth said: "What a privilege to meet Conor McGregor and having a Sunday braai [barbeque]."

The pair met in the picturesque town of Calvi where McGregor has gone with his partner Dee Devlin and their two young children.

McGregor, 32, had been in the south of France where he celebrated his birthday and unwound on the beach after announcing his retirement from the UFC earlier this year.

The Dubliner has, among other things, been jet-skiing, drove around in a Lamborghini and shown off to his 36 million followers a €542,000 watch that is his latest eye-watering purchase.
