Conor McGregor makes rare Dublin city appearance on St. Stephen's night as he supports sister Erin in Panto

UFC fighter Conor McGregor made a rare Dublin City appearance on St. Stephen's night.

The Crumlin man was in the crowd at the Olympia theatre to cheer on sister Erin who stars in the Panto Cinderella as one of the ugly sisters.

She is cast alongside social media star James Patrice and former Xpose host Nadine Reid.

The 'Notorious' was joined by his long time partner Dee Devlin and their two children Conor Jnr and Croia.

The father-of-two showed up back stage to pose with the entire cast, with producer Stuart O’Connor sharing a photo on Instagram.

Erin recently opened up about suffering panic attacks and said facing her fears has been her saving grace.

The 38-year-old told the  Irish Mirror : “I remember having my first panic attack when I had Taylor, I didn’t know what it was.

“After you have a baby the world doesn’t feel as safe anymore, the lioness instinct comes out to mind this beautiful baby and protect it the best you can.”

“The next generation of working mothers are still trying to find our feet.

“When I’m under pressure, I do worry, when I take on new challenges I would worry but every time I face a challenge and I overcome it, when the insecurities come up again I tell myself I can do it.

“It’s about working through the fears and telling yourself you can do it, feel the fear and do it anyway.”

It comes as McGregor shared heartwarming pictures of his young family as he enjoyed Christmas in Ireland before making his long-awaited UFC return in 2020.

McGregor will return to the octagon for the first time since October 2018 when his fight with Donald Cerrone headlines UFC 246 on January 18.

Before that, 'The Notorious' has been relaxing in his native Ireland with his partner Dee Devlin and their two young children Conor Jr and Croia, Mirror.co.uk reports.

In a Christmas Day Instagram post - which clocked up more than 400,000 likes in two hours - McGregor can be seen cuddling baby Croia while wearing a party hat, relaxing at home with Devlin after the family's Christmas dinner, and heading for a Christmas Day outing with his partner and the children.

McGregor could be seen beaming in the photos, and his partner was clearly happy too, replying to the post with the comment 'Best Day' and a heart emoji.

Dee Devlin gave her seal of approval and said it was the 'best day.

Former two-weight UFC champion McGregor spread some festive cheer this Christmas by donating €25,000 to a homelessness charity in his home city of Dublin.

The 31-year-old's donation of €25,000 to the charity Inner City Helping Homeless included toy vouchers for the city’s disadvantaged children.

McGregor's generous donation will be a hugely welcome boost at a time of year when temperatures plummet and feelings of loneliness and isolation can be exacerbated.
