Conor McGregor made a young fan's day after promising to bring him to a UFC event in the future.
The youngster's father sent McGregor a tweet after his son underwent brain surgery.
It read: "Hey @TheNotoriousMMA my son's just had brain surgery, never complains always smiling. He’s a big fan of yours and I would love it if you could give him a message or thumbs up to keep his spirits up."
Responding to the post, McGregor said: "What’s up Luca my man! Stay strong young brother! Heal up and we will get you out to a live @ufc event in the near future."
The former two-weight champion then added: "Get this young man a pair of @McGregorFast gloves and some @McGregorFast merchandise! A real fighter, Luca!"
The boy's father replied: "Amazing from Conor, just had a baby and training for a fight and takes time to make my kids day."
McGregor is ramping up preparations for his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier this summer.
The Dubliner faces the American for a third time on July 10 in Las Vegas after suffering a shock defeat to him back in January.
McGregor's long-time coaches John Kavanagh and Owen Roddy jetted out to Dubai last Monday for his training camp.
The 32-year-old's fiancee Dee Devlin gave birth to the couple's third child earlier this week, just days after McGregor was named the world's richest athlete.
McGregor took to Instagram to post a picture with his new son, saying: "The McGregor Clan is now a family of 5.
"Healthy baby boy delivered! Baby and Mammy Wonder Woman are doing great! God I thank you for everything you give to me and my family in this world.
"My new born son, Rían McGregor."
