Conor McGregor is expected to show up to support his long-time friend and teammate Artem Lobov when he faces off with the Notorious' fierce rival Paulie Malignaggi in a Bare Knuckle boxing match on Saturday.
The Irishman has had a feud with former boxing champ Malignaggi since sparring footage leaked from their training sessions ahead of McGregor's fight with Floyd Mayweather in the Summer of 2017.
And Malignaggi has a chance to somewhat settle the score when he steps into the squared circle for the first time against Lobov, who beat UFC veteran Jason Knight in his debut earlier this year.
Bare Knuckle Fight Championship president David Feldman told MMAFighting.com: "From the conversations I’m having, if I was going to bet on it, he [Conor McGregor] will be there but who knows.
“They’re not going to give confirmation and if they are, they’re not going to tell us so we put it out there ‘hey Conor McGregor’s coming to the fight’ and then he’s mobbed.”
Malignaggi and Lobov have got heated in the build-up to their fight, with the American spitting in the ex-UFC star's face at the pre-fight press conference.
There is also speculation that McGregor will be in London on Saturday night when his other close friends Charlie Ward and James Gallagher return to the Bellator MMA cage.
