Conor McGregor labels Nate Diaz a 'little cockroach' as he takes aim at UFC rival

Conor McGregor has reignited his feud with old rival Nate Diaz after taking aim at the American on social media.

A tweet from the Dubliner on Tuesday led to Diaz hitting out at McGregor for trash talking while he's currently sidelined with a broken leg.

Diaz tweeted: "Bruh u can’t walk or fight right now why u talkin s***? We talk later."

McGregor then directed a number of tweets at Diaz and threatened to 'smack' him about, even while injured.

The former two-weight champion said: "Who can’t? Come thru and see you little skinny fool you be smacked up and rolled up you bum. Calis mine."

McGregor continued to blast the 36-year-old as he shared a number of photos of a bloody Diaz from their two fights to date.

Commenting on the pictures, he said: "It’s none of that hitting arms and commentary screaming with me. It’s silence and holes in the head.

"Bones heal. Blunt force trauma to the brain? Not so much. #seeyouwheneveriwant."

"'You taking everything I worked for motherf***er' hahahaja well then work harder you little cockroach #foreverrich #bye."

Diaz defeated McGregor by choking him out in the first fight between the pair at UFC 196 in March 2016 before the Irishman won the rematch via a majority decision five months later.

McGregor is facing up to a year on the sidelines after suffering a horror leg break in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier in July.
