Conor McGregor invites fans to ‘Proper Twelve Day’ celebration in his Blackforge pub

Conor McGregor is looking forward to celebrating a special 'Proper Twelve Day' at his Blackforge Pub in Dublin.

The UFC star has been enjoying plenty of down time in the Dublin 12 boozer in recent weeks after spending around €3 million on the property.

The Notorious one bought the pub for around €2 million last year, and pumped €1 million into renovations before its reopening over the summer.

And in a nod to his Proper no Twelve whiskey brand, which he sold a majority stake of earlier this year, he's planning a 'Proper Twelve Day' at the venue.

Shating an Instagram story, McGregor invited fans to the celebration on December 12, the twelfth day of the twelfth month of the year.

McGregor was pictured at the pub last month for the first time since it reopened and was seen enjoying a meal with his fiancee Dee Devlin.

When asked what his best recommendation to order was, the former two-weight champion said: "I’d say the goat cheese bon bons to start. A taste bomb! Then our Irish steak on a stone for main.

"To drink then I’d have a Forged Stout and a Proper Twelve on the rocks. Dessert I’d go for The Black Forge Mess, with more Forged Stout and Proper Twelve to finish. What a place!"
