Conor McGregor hopes to enlist help of famous jeweller to create 'The McGregor Belt'

Conor McGregor could have his eyes on rubies as he faces off against 'The Diamond' at UFC 264.

The Dubliner takes on Dustin Poirier on July 10 in a trilogy fight, with 20,800 fans set to attend the Las Vegas showdown.

And McGregor has claimed he wants two belts up for grabs, a ''Richest M**********r Belt' as well as 'The McGregor Belt'.

McGregor tweeted: "Let’s do two belts actually @ufc. Champ Champ always does two. We’ve got “The McGregor Belt” currently in creation, and now we’ve got the all new “RMF” belt. “The Richest Motherfucker Belt”.

"This way we can put both the rubies and the emeralds to good use."

The former two-weight champ followed up that claim with a message indicating he'd like famous jeweller Charles Winston to have a hand in creating belts featuring rubies and emeralds.

He said: "Secretary, get me Harry Winston on the phone."

It comes after the UFC announced that the trilogy fight has sold out in a matter of seconds.

The lightweight rivals go toe-to-toe after their January collision and all 20,800 tickets are gone after they went on sale at 8 pm Irish time last night.

With some tickets priced as high as $10,000, the last of the golden tickets that weren't swept up on pre-sale this week are gone as Dana White took to Twitter to make the announcement.

Ticket sales for the fight are predicted to bring in around €14.2 million alone for the UFC, with that figure to significantly swell when PPV buys are factored in.

And with the grudge rematch set to go down on front of a heaving Las Vegas crowd, the winner could see themselves catapulted into the lightweight title picture later this year.
