Conor McGregor hints that he could come out of retirement to fight Nick Diaz

Conor McGregor has sent fans another hint that he isn't quite finished with the fight game and that he still has a score to settle with the Diaz brothers.

The Notorious one announced his retirement from MMA earlier in the summer, but has recently been linked with a fight against a returning Nick Diaz.

McGregor has twice fought Nick's younger brother Nate Diaz in what many fans view as one of the greatest rivalries in UFC history.

And as speculation grows that the Dubliner is being lined up to take on the veteran and continue the feud, McGregor has seemingly responded to the speculation.

Replying to a tweet about the Diaz brothers, McGregor said: "Line them up".

With his 2016 fights against Nate among the UFC's top pay-per-views in the promotion's history, it's likely that the blockbuster returns could shatter records once again.

And with McGregor explaining that his reasoning for retirement was a lack of exciting fight opportunities, perhaps this could draw him out.

In fact, McGregor is priced at just 4/1 to take on the Stockton fighter as he targets a January 2021 return after five years away from the cage.

And if the Nick Diaz fight materializes, fans can begin to look forward to finally getting a trilogy fight with his younger brother Nate.

But for now, McGregor is busy celebrating his engagement to long-time partner Dee Devlin as they soak the Monaco sun with their two children Conor Jr. and Croia.
