Conor McGregor has fans worried as he shows off pub table with dozens of drinks

UFC star Conor McGregor has concerned fans after posting a picture with dozens of drinks at his Dublin pub.

McGregor has posted several pictures of himself drinking at his pub, The Black Forge Inn, instead of being in the gym training for his UFC return.

The Irishman broke his tibia in his UFC 264 loss to Dustin Poirier last July, marking his second stoppage loss to 'The Diamond' that year after being finished in their January rematch.

He is poised to return to full-contact training in April and book his return to the cage in the summer, with UFC 267 on July 4 being a likely date for his return.

But he has worried fans by posting a picture of a loaded table of drinks, with several glasses of whiskey, a tray of over 10 shots and several cocktails being on display.

One fan wasn't impressed with the dozens of drinks McGregor posted, writing: "Still drinking. TIME TO STOP".

"Bro concentrate on training or u gonna think whiskey can help u," another added.

Another user seemingly thinks McGregor's drinking habits indicate he will never return to his old form in the octagon.

"This man is never coming back to fight like he used to," the user wrote. "Whoever is hoping otherwise is fooling himself. At this point he is just enjoying his life and enjoying his past achievements."

And a final commenter said: "You know he’s getting knocked out if he fights again what’s he doing".

McGregor finds himself at No.9 in the UFC lightweight rankings having not won a fight at the weight class in over five years.

The former two-weight champion faces a heavy cut down to 155-pounds in his return after recently bulking up to "190lbs of granite".

And with Ireland removing Covid-19 restrictions last month on the anniversary of the late Arthur Guinness, McGregor vowed to give up alcohol when he resumes "full training".

"For my fighting fans, I want to say I know I am enjoying myself with my liquid," he wrote.

"But very soon I will be immersing my self in full training again with complete abstention from my wonderful creations of spirit and ale. Just 5 more minutes Ma."

And UFC president Dana White has backed McGregor to make his UFC return later this year.

"I think so, yeah," White told TMZ when asked if McGregor will fight in 2022. "He’s doing all the right things with his leg. I’m hoping he can come back this summer."
