Conor McGregor filmed driving Lamborghini as he and Dee Devlin enjoy holiday

Conor McGregor looked like a man in love at the wheel of a Lamborghini after he was filmed driving the super-car this week.

Usually assured and confident in the Octagon, the retired UFC star looked uncharacteristically cautious and almost skittish as he tackled the power of the Italian sports car.

And two days removed from his birthday, the Dubliner has been living the dream as it seems he's on holiday with long-time partner Dee Devlin.

Posting the video to Instagram, McGregor gushed: "What a machine is the Lamborghini. Originally a tractor. Now in production of its very first Sport Yacht. And yes you guessed. A legit rocket ship! Incredible!"

McGregor and Devlin appear to be on holidays abroad as some of the snaps show them lying by a swimming pool, while he also shared a snap from the beach on Wednesday.

The Notorious turned 32 on Tuesday and posted a number of snaps from the day on his Instagram account.

In one picture, McGregor, who retired from MMA for the third time in four years last month, can be seen puffing on a smoke.

Another photo shows McGregor with his arm around Dee as the couple laugh together.

Meanwhile, Jorge Masvidal has said he would prefer a rematch with Kamaru Usman over facing McGregor in his next fight.

Masvidal lost via uninamous decision to Usman in the main event at UFC 251 last weekend after taking the bout on just six days notice.

Addressing what's next for him, the American told ESPN : “Usman obviously, it’s a no-brainer.

"Could they offer me bigger names and pay me more money? Yes. For a fact. But if it’s up to me, Usman.

"For me stepping up on six days’ notice when nobody else would. Cause a lot of people are saying they would, but who else did it? Who else really actually asked Dana [White]?

"Who else was actually like, ‘Hey, if Masvidal doesn’t do it, I will do it, I’m right here, I’m ready to go, let’s do it.’

“If it’s up to me, of course, Usman right away. I don’t care if they could offer me a bigger fight or not. I would like to fight Usman.”

A bout with McGregor could make Masvidal a lot more money, but 'Gamebred' insists he is more interested in becoming welterweight champion.

He added:“You could tell me that McGregor right now would make X, Y, Z dollars, the biggest pay-per-view event in history right, and I’m going to get paid forever.

“I feel like I got compensated well enough now, that I keep making the right decisions that I’ve been doing, then this money is forever money.

"So it’s not about money. It’s about I want that damn belt and I’m stubborn.

"I know I’m better than Usman and I want to prove it. I want to fight again. I’m not going to take nothing from him. He won the first one. Let’s do it again. That’s it.

“After that, then we can start with whatever comes next after that, but Usman’s the thing that I want the most. The immediate rematch is Usman for me now.”
