Conor McGregor fight: Dylan Moran labels Jake Paul 'clown' and makes UFC 257 prediction

Conor McGregor's sparring partner and pro boxer Dylan Moran has once again dismissed Jake Paul - labelling the YouTuber a 'clown'.

Paul recently called out the Waterford fighter, who has been sparring with McGregor ahead of Saturday night's UFC 257 clash with Dustin Poirier.

Moran gave an insight into McGregor's preparations for the fight and threw in a jibe at the YouTuber who recently called McGregor out with a foul-mouthed tirade.

"It was very, very enjoyable up until this clown (Jake Paul) came on the internet," Moran told RT.

"Being around Conor was just amazing. The sparring was the best sparring I've ever had, I was just really enjoying it.

"When two fighters just gel...it was just good pace, the shots were good, the flow was good, the energy around the whole spar was just amazing."

26-year-old Moran reckons McGregor's form means that Poirier does not stand a chance when they take to the octagon at the Etihad Arena this weekend.

"Conor is firing on all cylinders, the guy is special," Moran added.

"Like he said himself, he's creating a masterpiece and I think he's just going to take Dustin Poirier apart."

Moran also believes McGregor can finish the fight early - just like he did when he first met Poirier in Las Vegas six years ago.

He predicted: "I'd be putting my money on the first round.

"I've been studying Dustin myself, I really read into things, and I just think Dustin is handmade for Conor's best shots.

"He's just going to walk on to them and there's no better man to land them than Conor McGregor. I wouldn't be surprised at all if it's over in the first round."
