Conor McGregor faces off with Mike Perry as he teases Bare Knuckle debut

Conor McGregor squared off with Mike Perry and teased a future career in bare knuckle boxing at an event on Saturday night.

The Notorious was in attendance to watch Mike Perry defeat former UFC Middleweight Champion Luke Rockhold at BKFC 41.

After the fight, McGregor - who was carrying a BKFC Championship belt - stepped into the ring to exchange words with Perry.

The Irishman teased a future fighting appearance in the bare-knuckle organisation and even went so far as to say he would be up for taking on Perry himself.

"I'm into this game," Mystic Mac told Perry during the face-off, "I'd fight you, no problem," he said before declaring, "I'm never retiring."

When asked by BKFC interviewer for his thoughts on the sport as a whole, McGregor was effusive in his praise.

"It’s an incredible setup here,” McGregor said. “Incredible matchmaking. Incredible storytelling. I had to come here. I flew straight away. I was not going to miss this and it did not disappoint. All these fighters that step in here are warriors and all have my respect.”

“I’m into this game,” McGregor said. “I’d be into this. How am I showing up here and I’ve already got the belt? Come get it, baby! Come get the strap, baby!”

The former two-weight World Champion is under contract with the UFC and will make his return to action later this year when he takes on Michael Chandler.
