Conor McGregor explains why he quickly deletes tweets in X-rated blast

Conor McGregor has revealed he deletes his tweets to prevent negativity poisoning his account.

The Irish star is currently plotting his return to UFC action after suffering a broken leg injury in an opening-round defeat to Dustin Poirier.

He has since taken to social media to deliver numerous expletive rants, as well as recently voicing his frustration after Ireland reimposed lockdown restrictions to prevent the increasing spread of coronavirus.

And after being questioned by a political commentator on social media, McGregor responded with an X-rated rant explaining how he deletes his tweets to prevent negativity being visible on his account.

McGregor wrote on Twitter : "Hey, d*** breath, you must be new here. I will always say what I need to say, it gets reported/spread, then I remove from my page.

"It's done and out. I do not like to keep negativity on my channels. Ever. You do zero to help anything or anyone in any situation. So shut up.

"My point stands. I am ashamed of those in government! Leo comment, disgraceful. I’m worried for our neglected hospitals and for our people. It is an abomination what is happening! It hurts me beyond belief. If you think I enjoy saying these things and want to keep them, i do not.

"Now do me a favour since you do absolutely f*** all else, and f*** off with your 'commentary'.

"Ah act innocent. I’ve seen your sly remarks before. You did not just share. Remember this is not a laughing matter. None of it! You’re a 'Twitter political commentator'. A great provider, I’m sure. You do nothing. Stop attempting to engage with me. P*** right off, failure. Get a job."

His latest outburst joins a whole host of deleted tweets to add to his tirade, with many inside the UFC critical of his behaviour outside of the cage.

And he was extremely critical of the Irish government which led to his latest outburst slamming their "hypocritical addresses" and stating he is "ashamed" of their actions during their time in power.

“There is just no backing from me here anymore,” McGregor wrote during his previous rant. “We will rise! Tonight’s address read like an advert to me. When Ireland stands. The world will know.

“We are almost three years into this. We have came together time and time again! Gone above and beyond what has been asked of us!

"Yet all we have gotten back is hypocritical address after hypocritical address! The audacity! I am ashamed of my nations government at this time.”
