Conor McGregor earned €1million in a mere seven seconds in 2021 - a time quicker than any other athlete.
OLBG has looked at the highest-paid athletes, analysing the total time spent in the ring or on the field with their wage earnings to reveal the fastest earning athletes in the world.
According to this new data, it takes McGregor just seven seconds to earn €1 million, as he earns €6,421,260.74 for every minute he spends in the ring.
For boxers, OLBG took the number of rounds that a fighter had fought in during their matches and multiplied this by three (the number of minutes in a round).
The data accounted for McGregor's limited time in the ring in 2021 and more specifically, his TKO loss against Dustin Poirier.
That fight represented just three minutes of fight time and OLBG's breakdown of the facts and figures displays that based on McGregor's pay for that fight, he ended up earning €1million in just seven seconds.
McGregor is due back in the ring at some stage in 2022 and he is sure to continue to rake in the cash as his star still shines in the world of UFC.
