Conor McGregor donates €20,000 to Robbie and Claudine Keane's fundraiser for hospitals

Conor McGregor has donated €20,000 to Robbie and Claudine Keane's fundraiser for hospitals.

The Republic of Ireland football legend and his wife are raising money for hospitals across Ireland amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Keane has promised the UFC star one of his jerseys after McGregor made the kind donation.

Commenting on the former striker's post, McGregor said: "Irish sporting legend! Give us a good jersey for the gaf my brother."

Keane replied: "I’ll have something special for you thanks so much for your donation incredibly generous."

Claudine also commended McGregor for donating. She commented: "@thenotoriousmma WOW how incredibly generous @thenotoriousmma amazing support for our frontline workers #ourhospitalheroes #wereinthistogether."

McGregor responded to Keane: "Top man Robbie fair f***ng play to you doing your bit it doesn’t go unnoticed. True representative of the green white and orange it’s the only way you could have banged in that many goals was with true love and passion for the land. Thank you brother!"

The fundraiser has raised over €60,000 already and you can donate to it here.

Keane will gift the jersey he wore in his last game for the Republic of Ireland to one lucky person who donates.
