Conor McGregor courts controversy with IRA social media shoutout to Seth Rogen

Irish star Conor McGregor has courted fresh controversy after delivering a tasteless IRA joke on social media.

The UFC star hasn't fought since being dominated by Khabib Nurmagomedov last October and a hand injury suffered earlier this year has pushed back his Octagon return.

McGregor made the boast after a fan compared his current look to Superbad director and star Seth Rogen.

The former two-weight champion appeared to appreciate the similarity and delivered a message to the Hollywood star.
