Conor McGregor celebrates St. Patrick's Day as Dee Devlin pours pint of Guinness

Conor McGregor has put the feet up to celebrate St Patrick's day as Dee Devlin poured him a pint of Guinness this evening.

The UFC star shared a snap of his fiancee pouring him the pint from his lavish home bar as he prepares to celebrate the big day with his family.

With a return to the Octagon in the works following his loss to Dustin Poirier, McGregor is enjoying some family time as he and Devlin look forward to welcoming their third child in the next few months.

And the Dubliner encouraged fans to join him in celebration ahead of St Patrick's Day on Wednesday.

An Instagram post read: "A Proper Dropper into a pint of Arthur’s special batch please my beautiful baby Dee!

"Tis’ the month of the Irish and I’m having my feet up and celebrating every last damn second of it! For we will rise and then rise again! As you will never. And I mean NEVER beat Ireland!

"Up the Irish ☘️Happy Paddy’s Day everyone, enjoy it all month with me! Yours sincerely from the home bar, Half a B Mac G".

It comes after McGregor was backed to be 'more than prepared' to see off Poirier if the pair ever come to blows again in a trilogy fight.

That's according to the UFC star's striking coach, Owen Roddy, after McGregor was knocked out in their UFC 257 showdown in January, meaning that both fighters have scored KO victories over each-other.

McGregor is hoping to face the American again this year, and the SBG Charlestown supremo admitted that Poirier and his team got it right.

"You can't get it right all the time, unfortunately," Roddy told The Straight Talking Podcast.

"We're only human. And you have to give the opposition some credit as well.

"And that's the game. We go in with a strategy, they go in with a strategy.

"And unfortunately, this time we came up a little bit short.

"There's no better man to come back with a rematch and get the job done."

But Roddy claims he'll be studying 'The Diamond' as he draws up new strategies to beat him in the eventual trilogy fight.

He added: "I haven't been watching Poirier since [the fight].

"Well, I've been watching him for a long time prior to the fight and now I'm watching him even more now and coming up with strategies in order to beat what they have.

"I'll be more than prepared for the next one, Conor will be more than prepared and so will the rest of the team.
