Conor McGregor has purchased a pub in Dublin which was the scene of one of his most infamous moments in recent years.
The Irishman was caught on camera allegedly punching a man at the bar back in 2019, and not only has the UFC superstar now bought the pub, he has seemingly decided to ban the man who he had the altercation with.
McGregor, who is primed for a trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier in July, confirmed a report from The Currency, while also adding the man who had a disagreement with him is not welcome.
McGregor quoted the report on Twitter and added: “Ye and your mans barred.”
The pub was the scene of a scuffle between McGregor and a man in 2019, with the MMA fighter apologising and made to pay a £860 (€1000) fine by the Dublin District Court.
The disagreement was reportedly sparked after the man, Des Keogh, refused to accept a Proper No.12 whiskey, the beverage founded by McGregor.
The 32-year-old has paid between $2 million and $2.5 million (£1.4m to £1.8m) on the Marble Arch in Dublin.
McGregor has diversified his business portfolio in recent years, including his aforementioned Irish whiskey, though he sold his stake in the business for a reported £112 million this year, with the company now fully owned by Jose Cuervo parent company Becle.
It is the second pub purchased by McGregor, having took ownership of The Black Forge pub near his hometown of Crumlin in 2019.
