Conor McGregor brings daughter Croia to famous Dublin restaurant An Poitin Stil

Conor McGregor loves his food, and popped into one of Dublin's most famous restaurants recently for a bit of grub.

The UFC superstar is preparing for a return to the Octagon in January, but still has time to take his daughter Croia out for a meal.

And the Crumlin native dropped into Rathcoole restaurant 'An Poitin Stil', a famous restaurant built on the site of an inn dating back to 1649.

The restaurant is a hit with commuters, who come in their droves from the N7, and McGregor is no different as he shared a picture of him and Croia enjoying a pit stop at the restaurant.

In the post to Instagram, McGregor said: "Ag An Poitin Stil le mo Princess.

"What a great premise this is right here on Dublin’s N7. Amazing Irish food how I love you so".

It comes Dana White says the UFC have not done anything for Conor McGregor's comeback fight.

McGregor recently claimed that he would make his eagerly awaited return to the Octagon on January 18, but UFC President White claims the promotion have done nothing for the bout.

He said: "There's nothing done. Literally zero.

"Conor came out and said that. People then said, 'Is this true?' And I said, 'He wants to fight that date.' But we literally haven't done anything.

"Nobody has called Cerrone. Cerrone actually text me yesterday and said, 'I hope all this talk is true.' So there is literally nothing done. Zero."

Meanwhile, McGregor's manager claims to have held "very productive talks" with the UFC.

Audie Attar told Ariel Helwani of ESPN: "We had very productive talks this weekend with the UFC.

"I know Conor has announced a date, and in terms of discussions we have agreed on that date and we have agreed on that opponent.

"We're not going to reveal anything tonight but a deal is imminent, I don't see anything getting in the way barring some unforeseen circumstances.

"Both parties want to get it done, it's in the best interests of everyone involved and more importantly the fans are really excited to see him back."
