Conor McGregor has been warned he is on the verge of becoming a "rich little weirdo" after his altercation with Machine Gun Kelly.
McGregor and the rapper - real name Colson Baker - were involved in an altercation at the MTV awards in New York last weekend.
Video footage of the incident showed McGregor throw a punch and his drink at Baker, with security quickly breaking up the confrontation before it escalated.

And former UFC star Chael Sonnen has questioned why McGregor - who is currently recovering from a broken tibia - was at the awards in the first place.
He said: "He goes out to something known as the MTV or VMA awards, which right there hard stop that's weird.
"That's not cool. That's what dorks would do, then hope that more nerds at home would watch it. Conor being there, very off-brand. The whole thing is very slimy.
"Then he gets in some dust-up with some knucklehead named Machine Gun Kelly. This is also interesting because the only footage we have is of Conor being upset and trying to get to or at somebody."
McGregor has played down the incident stating there is no rivalry between the pair, also claiming he doesn't know who Baker is.
But Sonnen continued: "So Conor is dealing with this and handling it by saying 'It didn't happen. I don't know anything about it. Don't even know who he is'. Nobody can prove different, because the only footage we have is of Conor looking agitated."

Odds have already been released for a potential boxing match between the pair, which saw McGregor favoured at a massive 1/50.
McGregor dragged Baker's partner Megan Fox into the spat yesterday when he retweeted a video of the popular actress dancing as he made the walk to the octagon during one of his fights.
And Sonnen continued his criticism of McGregor, adding: "I don't want him to be a little rich weird guy. I don't want that for him. He's getting and hedging dangerously close to being a little rich weirdo.
"The fact that he was there is not great, especially if you're someone like me that comes out and tries to perpetuate that Conor's cool.
"That's tough man. What are you doing at MTV... if you're ever at a show where Machine Gun Kelly is about to be recognised for doing a good job. You're at a weird show man."
"You got dressed up, you put on a special outfit, you rented a car to drop you off with these elitist weirdos? It's weird, it's very very bizarre that he was there."
