Back in 2019, UFC legend Conor McGregor was caught on security camera sucker-punching a man at a Dublin pub over a whiskey dispute. McGregor pleaded guilty on a single assault charge stemming from the punch.
But two years later, McGregor has revisited the scene of that assault with the ultimate pettiness in mind.
According to a report from The Currency, McGregor paid about $2.4 million to purchase the Marble Arch pub in Dublin 12.

McGregor tweeted immediately after news of the purchase was reported that he was banning the assault victim from the pub. That’s long-game (and expensive) pettiness.
The Irish Mirror did catch up with the victim, Desmond Keogh, to get his reaction. He said he wasn’t going back anyway:
“I’m not really concerned because I probably wouldn’t be going back to it now. I wouldn’t be going back anyway, probably especially now.
“I wouldn’t want to be spending money in his pub to be honest.”
Keogh said he had been drinking at that pub for 14 years, but he does live in Dublin. It’s not like he’ll have to search extensively for another pub to visit.
