UFC star Conor McGregor backed Liverpool in the Champions League final, despite being a boyhood Manchester United fan.
The Reds were defeated 1-0 by Real Madrid at the Stade de France on Saturday, unable to clinch their second European Cup in four years. Vinicius Jr. scored the only goal of the game in the second-half.
McGregor said ahead of the game that he was putting rivalry aside to back the Reds due to his family supporting the club.

He said before the final : "You know, my family are Liverpool, I'm a supporter of Liverpool. I'm a supporter of Real Madrid also. I hope for a great game but I'll have to go with the pool (Liverpool) for this one, I'll have to go for the pool."
The 33-year-old is a boyhood United fan and has previously spoken of his allegiances.
“I was more a player than a watcher back then, but Manchester United was my team," he told their club website last year. "It was only the other day I came across an old picture of myself wearing that infamous grey United jersey.
"I bought with my [First Holy] Communion money at eight years of age. I see my son when I look at that photo. I’d love to know where it is now. A truly ‘Notorious’ football jersey!"
Real Madrid secured their fourteenth title after they last won the competition in Kyiv in 2018, where they also beat Liverpool.
