Conor McGregor and Dee Devlin enjoy Christmas night out at UFC star's Dublin pub

Conor McGregor and Dee Devlin enjoyed a night out at the UFC star's Dublin pub over the weekend.

The couple were seen enjoying drinks and singing at Crumlin's Black Forge Inn with family and friends on Sunday night.

McGregor's sister Aoife and Dee's sister Sarah joined the couple for some festive celebrations at the Dublin 12 pub before new Covid-19 restrictions came in on Monday.

The Notorious was also joined by professional boxer Will Hayden, who has sparred with McGregor in the past and is sponsored by the Black Forge Inn.

Sharing a number of photos on Instagram, McGregor said: "Sunday well spent at The Black Forge Inn with the unbreakable crew.

"Thank you to our sponsored pro boxer Will Hayden for the custom Black Forge boxing trunks.

"What a spot, what a sound system, what a drinks selection!

"Oh and don’t forget our award winning Michelin star food served by master chef @eddraethorne and team!

"Fueled up Proper! Let’s go!

"We are The Black Forge."

McGregor recently revealed he has been given planning permission to expand his pub.

The UFC star purchased the Black Forge Inn for €2 million before spending another €1 million on renovations, with the pub opening its doors earlier this year.

McGregor has been granted planning permission by Dublin City Centre to add an extension to the rear of the Dublin 12 venue.

The plans will see the addition of a large single-story extension and food preparation area, as well as an outdoor dining section with raised canopy overhead.

Sharing a picture of the pub on Twitter to announce the plans, McGregor said: "There she is in all her mystical glory! To the top left of this picture, where the black gate and tarmac is, is where my new indoor/outdoor area will be.

"Ready by February. It will add a whole other dimension to this already amazing Dublin Twelve premise! Proper indeed!"

The pub recorded losses of €441,649 last year.

The MMA fighter acquired the pub in Crumlin, South Dublin, in 2020 and McGregor’s Jemi Ventures Ltd recently secured planning permission for a large extension.

The loss for last year includes a non-cash depreciation charge of €317,262.Latest accounts put a book value of €3.64million on the pub building and tangible assets at the end of last year.

The buildings had a book value of €2million while fixtures and fittings were valued at €1.63million.

The pub didn’t open until July of this year after a seven-figure make-over.

At a sitting of Dublin District Court last December, Jemi Ventures secured a licence transfer to allow it to open. The company’s cash funds at the end of last December totalled €665,108. The progression of the venture was financed by a €3.95million loan.

A note attached to the accounts states the directors have considered the company’s business prospects and relevant aspects of its financial position, including its ability to generate positive cash flow and/or obtaining additional funding that may be required.

The recent grant of permission comprises a part-one part-two storey extension to the back of the pub.

The spend is just part of McGregor’s outlay on property and last month, he confirmed plans to build “multiple amenities” along Dublin’s Grand canal.

He confirmed the new public space will include housing and a supermarket.

This followed a report the star paid up to €19million in nearly completing the assembly of the site on the Davitt Road.

Earlier this year, McGregor topped the Forbes list of being named the highest paid athlete in the world for 2020/21.

Forbes estimated that in the 12 months to the end of May of this year, McGregor earned €153million.
