Conor McGregor and coach John Kavanagh reunite in Dublin at amateur MMA show

Conor McGregor is back in Ireland, and was spotted at an amateur fight night in Dublin last night with his long-time coach John Kavanagh.

The pair had been rumoured to have split, but that talk was put to bed last night as they were pictured smiling together in the Green Isle Hotel in Clondalkin supporting McGregor's pal Gerry Vegas.

Vegas was making his Mixed Martial Arts debut at a 'Wimp 2 Warrior' event, and was coached by Kavanagh, who is heavily involved in the initiative.

A photo of Kavanagh and The Notorious was posted to the SBG Ireland supremo's Instagram, with a long caption saying: "Big thanks to Conor McGregor supporting grassroots MMA in Ireland showing up at Wimp 2 Warrior Dublin's finale to support his friend Gerry Vegas.

"Last night was a huge success for the sport in Ireland with some great contests.

"It would not have happened without a great team and I'd like to thank Buzz Brennan for a list far too long to write out, all the coaching staff and those involved in making the finale a huge success.

"See you at the next one!"
