Conor Kennedy, son of RFK Jr, placed on Russia’s international wanted list

A Russian court has authorised the arrest in absentia of Conor Kennedy, son of US health secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr , for fighting in Ukraine .
The 32-year-old has been placed on Russia 's international wanted list on mercenary charges and faces up to ten years in prison if captured.
Kennedy secretly enlisted in Ukraine's International Legion in 2022 and served in the Kharkiv region during the early months of the conflict.
Several other foreign volunteers from the US, UK, Sweden, Colombia, and the Czech Republic were also targeted in similar Russian court rulings.
The ruling could further strain relations between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump as the US president attempts to broker a peace deal in Ukraine.
