Tyrone teenager Conor Bradley was 'buzzing' for Kaide Gordon after he scored his first competitive goal for Liverpool during their 4-1 win over Shrewsbury Town in the third round of the FA Cup.
A depleted Liverpool side was put together by Jurgen Klopp and Castlederg star Bradley was part of a strong defence that included Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson.
Liverpool fell behind at Anfield in the first half, but Gordon neatly tucked his chance away before Fabinho gave the Reds the lead before half-time.
Bradley played the full 90 minutes for Liverpool and was thankful of the guidance Jurgen Klopp before the game kicked off.
" I was buzzing for him. I'm quite close with Kaide and I liked to see him get his first goal at Anfield. I'm just buzzing for him," said Bradley.
"It was a good performance from the whole team. It was a good performance and I'm happy that we're into the next round. I think we controlled the game the whole way through.
"When they scored it was a bit of a sucker punch, but we just had to keep going and keep trying to create chances and hopefully the goals will come."
The 18-year-old highlighted the help the senior players provide during training and the advice they offer during games.
"The senior players are great with us, they try to help us all the time. If we need any advice, we can go to them," Bradley added. "The likes of Robbo or Virg or anyone.
"The senior players have been great and we've come together and got a result.
"Klopp just keeps telling me to be brave, don't play a safe game by playing back. Go forward as much as I can.
"He's been great with me, he's helped me loads and I'm forever grateful."
