Conor Benn has vowed “to take what's left” of Chris Eubank Jr when the two rivals meet again on Saturday.
The sons of two British boxing legends Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank Sr will step into the ring for an highly-anticipated at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, seven months on from their first bout in north London.
On that night, Eubank Jr emerged victorious from the grudge match by unanimous decision in the middleweight contest.
While Eubank Jr won 116-112 on all three judges’ scorecards, he was taken to hospital by ambulance as a precaution following the recommendation of the on-site doctor in north London, with his post-fight press conference cancelled as a result.
Eubank Jr was then discharged from hospital on the Monday with fight promoters Boxxer denying claims that he had suffered a broken jaw.
That hospital visit was brought up by Benn in Thursday’s press conference as the 29-year-old made it clear he is out to claim redemption for his April defeat
Benn said: "[Eubank] was in hospital for three days.
“He's got incredible work rate, resiliency, strength, experience, he took me by surprise and he's a better fighter than I thought he was but I'm ready to take what's left on Saturday."
However, Eubank Jr was able to have the final word, saying: "The procedure will be parliamentary."

Eubank vs Benn 2 is once again being fought at the middleweight limit of 160lbs, with a 10lb rehydration clause enforced once more that means neither man can weigh more than 170lbs during a check that will take place at 9am on the morning of the bout.
Eubank Jr dramatically missed weight by 0.005 pounds last time, incurring a hefty £375,000 fine as a result.
