Conor Benn sends message to Amir Khan and Kell Brook ahead of Manchester fight

Amir Khan and Kell Brook are finally set to meet in the ring in February after their long-awaited bout was confirmed.

The two have agreed to settle their 10-year rivalry in a match after years of back and forth on a potential meeting, with both fighters calling each other out at various points during their careers.

The boxers have spoken of fighting each other on numerous occasions, with nothing ever materialising.

However, that'll all end on February 19 when they meet in the ring in Manchester.

Seen as two of Britain's greatest boxers of their era, fans have waited a long time to see the pair go head-to-head.

But Benn, the son of legendary boxer Nigel, believes he's far better than both Khan and Brook and hopes to prove it when he faces the winner next year.

Speaking to Boxing Social, Benn said: "I will fight the winner of that fight. They both think they are the best welterweights in Britain, I beg to differ.

"I don't know we will see how many people are actually still interested in it, I don't know how much speed Khan has got left and I don't know how much Brook's timing is there.

"But I am leaning towards Kell because all he has to do is land and he could follow through, but it is a 50/50 fight and it is the same even fight it would have been years ago."

One of the most exciting young boxers in the country right now, Benn continues to impress in his early days of his career so far.

He's set to become up against by far his most challenging opponent next week, when he faces Chris Algeiri in Liverpool - a fighter who has given Manny Pacquiao, Errol Spence and Amir Khan tough fights in his time.
