Connor Goldson has called on Steven Gerrard to get Ryan Kent and Joe Worrall signed up for next season.
The defender feels holding onto the duo and bringing in some top-class signings can turn Rangers into winners again after a season of what might have been.
Worrall’s loan deal from Nottingham Forrest is up in the summer and Kent is due to return to Liverpool.
Goldson said: “I hope Joe comes back for another season and we’d definitely like Ryan to stay as well.
“The squad the manager has built this year has done really well and I feel we are just a few parts away from being successful.
“People forget that for a lot of the players, it’s our first year together.
“We now know what this club is all about and what ambitions we have. Now we need to kick on and compete on every level.”

The defender reckons they blew it in both cup competitions – losing to Aberdeen on both occasions.
He added: “I wanted to come to Rangers and win things. That we haven’t managed that is a regret.
“At the same time, I feel it’s been a season of promise. You can see we’re a team that is progressing.
“The little blips have scarred us along the way, especially in the big games in both cups. It puts a downer on the season.
“But it also motivates us to kick on, do well in the last five games and show the fans there are positives.
“We will recharge the batteries and come back for next season and I’m sure there will be a few new signings.”
