Rangers stalwart Connor Goldson insists he and his team-mates haven't received enough credit for their title triumph this season.
The English centre-back has been as solid as a rock for Steven Gerrard 's side this season, and played a massive part in the Ibrox side winning their first Premiership trophy since 2011.
Goldson was his usual reliable self in this afternoon's 4-0 thrashing of Aberdeen, with the result meaning the Gers finish the campaign without suffering defeat in 38 matches.
But as the players celebrated after the final whistle, Goldson was keen to point out the achievement is more down to Rangers' strengths, rather than Celtic's weaknesses.
He said: "It's been a long time coming for this football club and I've been here long enough now to meet a lot of people in Glasgow and meet a lot of Rangers fans. I know what this club means to so many and it's a proud day for everyone. We'll cherish it for a long time.
"I don't think we were at our best today performance wise but, again, we've beaten the fourth-best team in the league 4-0 at home and our record has been amazing.
"It'll be talked about for a long time what we've done.
"The goals conceded record, clean-sheet record, going unbeaten all season.
"I've heard a lot of people speaking about Celtic this season and how they've fallen away but not many people have given us credit for what we've done. With 102 points, and going unbeaten, it's a magnificent achievement."
