Connor Goldson in Rangers 'kings of Scotland' roar as Ibrox rock delivers Celtic put down

The huge banner that covered the Sandy Jardine Stand at Ibrox on Sunday declared Rangers the 'Kings of Scotland' - and Connor Goldson certainly agreed.

The big centre back was a rock yet again as his side triumphed in the final Old Firm derby of the season with a 4-1 win and it continued his incredible record of playing every minute of every game this season.

He's now up to 54 appearances in all competitions, which is an incredible 4890 minutes of football when you include the extra 30 played in the Scottish Cup clash against St Johnstone.

Sections of the Rangers support still had doubts about him this time last year, but he's won everybody over with his defending and leadership over the last 12 months.

He'll hold the Premiership trophy next month and he's now joined in with the fans by declaring Rangers the 'Kings of Scotland' following the win over Celtic.

Fans had produced a massive banner which covered much of the Sandy Jardine Stand at Ibrox which read: "Glasgow Rangers - 55 times Kings of Scotland."

Goldson shared an image of him standing in front of the banner during the game on Sunday with the caption: "Correct."

And he got support from Borna Barisic too, with the Croatian defender declaring: "Absolutely."
