Connecticut’s Alyssa Thomas credits LeBron with inspiring her spin-move

If you tune into Game 2 of the 2019 WNBA Finals later on Tuesday evening, you might see a move that is a little reminiscent of one you might start seeing on a regular basis from LeBron James. According to Connecticut Sun star Alyssa Thomas, she was inspired by seeing LeBron’s spin-move off his left shoulder while driving the lane.

ESPN’s Holly Rowe and Rebecca Lobo interviewed Thomas about the move, which caught the attention of James. The King also offered to consult her on some counter moves if defenders get wise to her spin move.

The Sun will need all of Thomas’ moves to be right as they head into hugely important Game 2 against the Washington Mystics, whom they trail in the best-of-five series 1-0.

LeBron mostly put his support behind the Las Vegas Aces, who were eliminated by the Mystics in the WNBA semifinals. However, it seems that the player emulating one of his best moves is going to get his rooting interest for the Finals.
