MUMBAI: Jitesh Raosaheb Antapurkar is a frontrunner for the Deglur assembly byelection, scheduled to be held on October 30.
Jitesh is the son of the late Raosaheb Antapurkar, who succumbed to a Covid-related infection.
The state parliamentary board presided over by state Congress president Nana Patole met on Friday and submitted a panel of six names to the central parliamentary board.
“We have submitted the list to the central parliamentary board and the Congress nominee will be the official candidate of the Maha Vikas Aghadi,’’ Patole said.
