Congratulations to Catherine McLean Young, who was named Miss West Lothian 2022.
She won the beauty pagent recently at Grand Central in Livingston, which raised money for charities Les Hoey MBE Dream Makers and Headway Kent.
Catherine (25), from Dedridge, said: “One of the most happiest moments of my life was becoming Miss West Lothian 2022 and meeting so many lovely humans along the way.
“I’m still processing it all, it doesn’t feel real but I can now say that I am the new Miss West Lothian of this year 2022. I will also be judging in the judges panel next year’s Miss West Lothian 2023. “
She also congratulated runner Chloé Graham and Chantelle McNeill, who were runners-up.
She added: “Well done to everyone involved, with special thanks to organiser Emma Hanley.
“And a massive thank you to Eddie Anderson for starting off this wonderful charity event. It’s been going strong for the past 26 years.”
