Confirmed West Ham vs Burnley: Yarmolenko starts, Lanzini dropped

Andriy Yarmolenko starts for West Ham for the first time since November 23 last year as the Hammers face Burnley at London Stadium in the Premier League.

The Ukrainian's last start at came in a 3-2 defeat to Spurs last year at in east London when he played just 56 minues before being hauled off. Yarmolenko replaces Manuel Lanzini in the starting lineup, who is dropped after starting the last two games for the Hammers.

That is the only change David Moyes has made from the team that drew 2-2 with Newcastle last weekend as the manager has resisted wholesale rotational changes.

There is a returning face on the bench that coudld put an end to the wild conspiracy theories over his future. Sebastien Haller returns to the matchday squad having missed the first four games of the restart with a hip injury.

The back four remains the same as for the last two outings. Ryan Fredericks is at right back, Issa Diop and Angelo Ogbonna line up at centre half and Aaron Cresswell at left back.

he midfield three remains the same too as Declan Rice, Tomas Soucek and Pablo Fornals all start once again. Yarmolenko should line up in a front three with Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen.

West Ham: Fabianski; Fredericks, Diop, Ogbonna, Cresswell; Rice, Soucek, Fornals; Yarmolenko, Bowen, Antonio.
