West Ham teenager Jamal Baptiste starts a senior game for the first time as he lines up at centre back alongside Angelo Ogbonna as the Hammers face Wycombe Wanderers at Adams Park in a pre-season friendly.
The 16-year-old has enjoyed a rapid progress from the Hammers under-18s setup, making his under-23s debut last year and became the second youngest player ever to represent West Ham at that age group behind Jayden Fevrier, who was only 15 when he made his debut.
Assistant manager Alan Irvine is taking the team at Wycombe and he will have an experienced side to work with but his bench is extremely youthful indeed.
All six of the Hammers subs at Adams Park are under-23 players with Joseph Anang, Tunji Akinola, Sean Adarkwa, Manny Longelo, Xande Silva and Bernardo Rosa on the bench.
David Martin starts in goal for the visitors with a back four of Ben Johnson, Baptiste, Angelo Ogbonna and Arthur Masuaku in front of him.

Over at Ipswich, Felipe Anderson is a surprise inclusion in the starting lineup having been expected to miss out through personal reasons.
Tomas Soucek starts at Portman Road, as does the returning Grady Diangana after his loan spell away at West Brom last season. Darren Randoklph is in goal as Lukasz Fabianski doesn't feature at either game.
Connor Coventry plays in defence at Ipswich alongside Fabian Balbuena, 19-year-oldr Ajibola Alese and skipper Aaron Cresswell.
Andriy Yarmolenko and Jack Wilshere play alongside Anderson and Diangna in midfield with Sebastien Haller up front.
