Confirmed West Ham team vs Spurs: Unchanged as Arthur Masuaku starts, Gareth Bale on hosts bench

As expected, David Moyes has named an unchanged West Ham starting eleven as they visit Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League.

The Hammers boss has stuck with the same eleven and same formation that beat Leicester City 3-0 last time out prior to the international break.

Vladimir Coufal keeps his place at right wing back despite the return from injury of Ryan Fredericks, with the Czech recruit making his second successive start.

Fabian Balbuena also keeps his place in the back five at the expense of Issa Diop, who returns to fitness having missed the last four games. The Frenchman is named among the substitutes this afternoon.

Angelo Ogbonna and Aaron Cresswell start as centre halves with Arthur Masuaku also selected having shrugged off a knee complaint that caused him to withdraw from international duty with DR Congo last week.

In midfield, Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek both resume their roles having come through the international break unscatehed. Once again, Mark Noble has to make do with a spot on the bench as Rice is handed the captain’s armband for a third straight game.

The usual front three starts as well as Jarrod Bowen and Pablo Fornals are both included, with Michail Antonio playing through the middle.

Lukasz Fabianski once again lines up in goal in front of the back five as Moyes sticks with the same formation he has employed since the second game of the season against Arsenal.

Said Benrahma is not involved this afternoon as his loan deal from Brentford was not confirmed until after the noon deadline on Friday to register players for the latest round of matches.

West Ham: Fabianski; Coufal, Balbuena, Ogbonna, Cresswell, Masuaku; Rice, Soucek; Bowen, Fornals, Antonio.
