Confirmed West Ham team vs Norwich City as David Moyes makes Cresswell and Vlasic decisions

West Ham manager David Moyes has made four changes to his Hammers team for this evening's Premier League clash with Norwich City.

The headline news for the Hammers is the return of Aaron Cresswell, who comes back after a ten-match absence and Vladimir Coufal's recall.

Moyes has arguably picked the strongest team available to him despite coming up against the Premier League's bottom side and the prospect of a tougher challenge against Leeds United on the horizon.

As expected, Moyes has opted to return Lukasz Fabianski to his starting spot in goal for his 300th Premier League apperance with Alphonse Areola once again named on the substitutes bench. Areola has been in fine form, keeping six clean sheet in his nine Hammers matches, but Fabianski has risen to the challenge of the Frenchman and remains the No.1.

In defence, Moyes has recalled Coufal at right-back after missing out in the FA Cup on Sunday with Cresswell back in the team in his usual left-back role. Ben Johnson drops to the bench.

Kurt Zouma is nearing a return to full fitness but this game comes too soon for the Frenchman and as a result, Issa Diop and Craig Dawson retain their spots. Both men will be under pressure to perform with the prospect of Zouma on the horizon.

In central midfield, Declan Rice is partnered by Manuel Lanzini who will play in a deep-lying playmaker role with Tomas Soucek not named in the matchday squad.

The attacking quartet sees one change, with Pablo Fornals returning in Lanzini's role with the Argentine dropping into Soucek's position.

Nikola Vlasic starts on the left and Jarrod Bowen the right. The trio will be offering support to lone striker Michail Antonio.

West Ham XI: Fabianski, Coufal, Diop, Dawson, Cresswell; Rice ©, Lanzini; Vlasic, Fornals, Bowen, Antonio

Subs: Areola, Alese, Ashby, Johnson, Kral, Ekwah, Masuaku, Okoflex, Yarmolenko
