West Ham manager David Moyes has sprung no real surprises and named an unchanged side for the visit of Manchester City to London Stadium on Saturday lunchtime.
The only surprise omission is that of new recruit Said Benrahma, who doesn’t make the matchday squad after his first week of full training after making his move from Brentford.
Moyes said on Friday that he was in no hurry to include the Algerian winger in his starting lineup or matchday squads until the 25-year-old was completely ready.
Benraham was spotted at the community track outside of the London Stadium on Saturday morning going through fitness drills with first team coach Stuart Pearce.
Moyes said of Benrahma: "Said is doing well. He needs to get up to speed with what we want and where we are at so it has given me the opportunity to take a bit more time with him but I have said the same before with the boys from the Championship, I am not in any rush to put them in.
"I like to give them the opportunities at the right time."
Michail Antonio has shrugged off a hamstring niggle to start up front as the usual trio start in the final third with Pablo Fornals and Jarrod Bowen lining up alongside Antonio.
The back five is in place one again and Fabian Balbuena keeps his place as Issa Diop has to settle for a spot on the bench. Aaron Cresswell and Angelo Ogbonna are the other two centre backs with Vladimir Coufal and Arthur Masuaku as the wing backs.
Tomas Soucek and Declan Rice, who captains the side once again, will patrol the midfield as Mark Noble is named as a substitute.
As usual, Lukasz Fabianski starts in goal for the Hammers.
West Ham: Fabianski; Coufal, Balbuena, Ogbonna, Cresswell, Masuaku; Rice, Soucek; Bowen, Fornals, Antonio.
