Confirmed West Ham team vs Hertha Berlin: Hammers unchanged as Haller and Fornals start

West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini has named a pretty strong eleven to play at least the first half against Hertha Berlin in the Hammers' latest pre-season friendly.

In fact, it's unchanged from the team that beat Fulham 1-0 at Craven Cottage on Saturday afternoon.

Sebastien Haller and Pablo Fornals start their second games in a row having both made their debuts at the weekend.

Angelo Ogbonna returns to the squad after missing the win in west London with a bad back but Mark Noble (dead leg) and Ryan Fredericks (groin) are still sidelined.

Ben Johnson's elevation to the first team might as well be confirmed now as he has once again made the starting lineup with Fredericks out and is preferred to Pablo Zabaleta as well.

The dynamic midfield four remains in tact from the weekend as Fornals joins Felipe Anderson, Manuel Lanzini and Jack Wilshere in the middle of the park.

Aaron Cresswell once again captains the side at left back with Arthur Masuaku, who penned a five-year contract extension in east London on Monday, among the substitutes.

Lukasz Fabianski was a late withdrawl from the lineup having been pulled out of the warm up and was replaced in goal by Roberto.

West Ham: Roberto; Johnson, Diop, Balbuena, Cresswell; Rice, Wilshere, Fornals, Lanzini, Anderson; Haller.

Substitutes: Roberto, Zabaleta, Ogbonna, Masuaku, Sanchez, Cullen, Snodgrass, Diangana, Yarmolenko, Antonio, Chicharito.
