Confirmed West Ham team vs Fulham as Jesse Lingard remains in the team and Bowen recalled

David Moyes has made one change to his starting XI to face Fulham this evening, with Jarrod Bowen replacing Ryan Fredericks in the team at Craven Cottage.

Bowen was only among the substitutes on Wednesday evening at Villa Park as David Moyes looked for a slightly more defensive right-hand side to protect against the threat of Jack Grealish.

The Hammers boss has today decided to return Fredericks to the bench and bring back Bowen for his added threat going forward against the vulnerable Fulham defence.

The rest of the team remains unchanged with Moyes looking to line-up in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

Lukasz Fabianski starts in goal, behind the first-choice backline of Vladimir Coufal, Angelo Ogbonna, Craig Dawson and Aaron Cresswell.

Regular midfield pairing Tomas Soucek and Declan Rice are once again the men chosen to patrol the space in front of the back four and provide the platform for the attacking quartet to shine. Club captain Mark Noble returns to the bench following his absence from the matchday squad against Villa for family reasons.

Bowen will begin from the right, with Algerian Said Benrahma starting his ninth game in a row, this time from the left.

Jesse Lingard will be hoping to match his two-goal exploits against Villa tonight and will start in the no.10 role behind Michail Antonio up-front.

Lingard, Benrahma, and Antonio looked to have formed an instant rapport with each other, and with a few more training sessions under their belt, they will be hoping to continue their development as an attacking trio.

The striker has not found the net in his past two games but has managed to assist three goals in that time. Antonio will no doubt be hoping to bag one for himself tonight against the league's seventh-worst defence.

Youngster Mipo Odubeko drops out of the matchday squad meaning Andry Yarmolenko could be the striker option off the bench if needed.

West Ham XI - Fabianski; Coufal, Dawson, Ogbonna, Cresswell; Rice, Soucek; Bowen, Lingard, Benrahma; Antonio.

Substitues -Martin,
Fredericks, Johnson, Balbuena, Diop, Noble, Fornals, Lanzini, Yarmolenko
