Confirmed West Ham team vs Arsenal as Jesse Lingard and Said Benrahma return

David Moyes has made two changes to his starting XI to take on Arsenal this afternoon in the Premier League at the London Stadium.

Jesse Lingard has returned to the team as expected after being ineligible to take on his parent club Manchester United last weekend and his selection should see West Ham have an added attacking threat to their game.

Pablo Fornals has not recovered from the injury he sustained in training ahead of the trip to Old Trafford and remains on the sidelines which sees Jarrod Bowen retain his place in midfield.

Said Benrahma was only a substitute last time out but has been recalled by Moyes to his regular attacking-midfield role in what looks to be a much more positive team selection from the manager.

The recall of Lingard and Benrahama comes at the expense of club captain Mark Noble and Ben Johnson who drop to the bench. Moyes started with five at the back against Manchester United but has reverted to a back four to take on Arsenal.

Vladimir Coufal and Aaron Cresswell are in the full-back roles with Criag Dawson and Issa Diop once again lining up together in central defence ahead of Lukasz Fabianski in goal.

Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek as ever will pair up in the central midfield, starting alongside one another for the 29th Premier League game in a row this season.

Lingard will be in the no.10 role tasked with providing lone striker Michail Antonio with support. Bowen will once again start on the right with Benrahma coming off the left flank.

Arthur Masuaku and Andriy Yarmolenko return to action following injury with the West Ham u-23 side on Friday evening but neither man was deemed fit enough to make the substitutes bench today.

Mipo Odubeko also played in that game and is included in today's squad alongside the returning Ryan Fredericks.

West Ham XI: Fabianski; Coufal, Dawson, Diop, Cresswell; Rice, Soucek; Bowen, Lingard, Benrahma; Antonio.

Substitutes: Martin, Trott, Balbuena, Alves, Fredericks, Johnson, Noble, Lanzini, Odubeko,
