Confirmed Spurs team vs Manchester United: Jose Mourinho brings in Lucas and Winks

Jose Mourinho has made two changes to his Tottenham Hotspur team to face Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The new Spurs head coach is back at his old stamping ground and is looking to make it four consecutive wins in the early weeks of his reign.

Spurs have seen off West Ham, Olympiacos and Bournemouth so far under their Portuguese new head coach but they face their sternest test with the visit to take on the Red Devils.

Mourinho is missing Erik Lamela, Ben Davies, Hugo Lloris and Michel Vorm through injury.

At left-back, the Tottenham boss has decided to stick with Jan Vertonghen in the role, with the Belgian able to step inside to make a back three in keeping with Mourinho's system, rather than restore Danny Rose.

In midfield, Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko, following his goal on Saturday, get the nod with Tanguy Ndombele and Eric Dier dropping out.

Lucas Moura also returns to the starting line-up. The Brazilian certainly knows how to score at Old Trafford, as he did against Mourinho's United side twice last season.

Here is the Spurs team that Mourinho has chosen:

Gazzaniga, Aurier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Winks, Sissoko, Dele, Lucas, Son, Kane. Subs: Austin, Rose, Foyth, Dier, Ndombele, Eriksen, Lo Celso.
