Confirmed Spurs team vs Burnley: Mourinho makes just one change but Troy Parrott is on the bench

Jose Mourinho has made just one change to his Tottenham Hotspur side to face Burnley.

Spurs are looking to return to winning ways after the disappointing defeat at Manchester United.

Eric Dier comes back into the team to provide a screen in front of the back four. Mourinho said that he did not feel Tanguy Ndombele was in the best condition to start against United and the 22-year-old Frenchman is out of the squad with a groin injury, along with Harry Winks who has an ankle problem.

Mourinho has continued with Moussa Sissoko in the centre of the pitch despite saying on Friday that he believes Sissoko's best position is on the right and that he is not a natural 'positional' central midfielder.

Gazzaniga, Aurier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Dier, Sissoko, Dele, Son, Lucas, Kane (C). Subs: Whiteman, Rose, Sessegnon, Skipp, Eriksen, Lo Celso, Parrott.
