Confirmed QPR lineup vs Swansea City - Brighton loanee starts, Angel Rangel faces former club

QPR caretaker manager John Eustace has made four changes for the Championship meeting with Swansea City.

Goalkeeper Joe Lumley is hoping to record back-to-back clean sheets for the first time this calendar year, and the defence in front of him includes one change from the midweek draw at Millwall, with Angel Rangel returning to face his former club.

Ryan Manning continues at left-back after impressing against Millwall, but there’s a double change in attack with Tomer Hemed and Bright Osayi-Samuel replacing Matt Smith and Nahki Wells.

Lee Hoos provides update on QPR's search for a new manager after sacking Steve McClaren

Smith, Wells and Joel Lynch drop to the bench, while Geoff Cameron misses out entirely with Jordan Cousins coming into the starting XI.

Victory over the Welsh club could potentially see the Rs end the weekend nine points clear of the relegation zone, with 22nd-placed Rotherham travelling to Stoke.

Swansea won the reverse fixture 3-0 back in September, after which QPR went on a run of 13 points from a possible 15 to prompt play-off talk, but the Rs currently sit in 18th after a run of just three points from their last seven outings.

QPR's 0-0 draw with Millwall must be viewed as one point won for survival under John Eustace

QPR last beat the Swans in 2012, during the run to Premier League safety under Mark Hughes, with Joey Barton, Jamie Mackie and Akos Buzsaky on target in a 3-0 victory.

QPR: Lumley, Rangel, Furlong, Leistner, Manning, Freeman, Luongo, Scowen, Cousins, Osayi-Samuel, Hemed

Substitutes: Ingram, Lynch, Wszolek, Eze, Smith, Walker, Wells
