Nottingham Forest have announced the signing of defender Morgan Sadler on a long-term contract.
Sadler, 17, has previously been on the books of Wrexham and Bury, before the latter was liquidated earlier this season.
He has signed his first professional deal with the Reds that will see him join the club’s academy until 2022.
As well as impressing at club level, he has appeared for the Welsh national team at age group level.
Sadler, who predominantly plays as a centre back has been highly rated for a number of years, with several clubs linked with a move for him in recent years.
Back in 2018, Leeds United were said to be in negotiations with Bury about bringing him to Elland Road, despite interest of a number of Premier League clubs at the time.
