Confirmed Millwall team news vs Leeds United – Meredith, Marshall and Thompson all start

Neil Harris has made three changes to his Millwall side that he hopes will record consecutive away Championship victories against promotion-chasing Leeds United.

One of those changes is enforced as Shane Ferguson is suspended for his sending off in the defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion last time out and is replaced by James Meredith.

Dave Martin keeps his place in the starting XI despite his costly error in that defeat, whilst Jordan Archer returns to the bench after missing the FA Cup game and then pulling out of the Scotland squad due to illness.

Elsewhere, Ben Thompson – who scored twice in the win at Birmingham City earlier this month – and Ben Marshall are both recalled by the Lions boss.

Only three points will guarantee Millwall keep their destiny in their own hands – and the Lions will be looking for a second straight Elland Road win after their dramatic 4-3 victory in January 2018.

Jed Wallace bagged an injury-time winner that day, whilst he also opened the scoring in the 1-1 draw when the teams last faced each other back in September.

Millwall XI to play Leeds United: Martin, Romeo, Cooper, Pearce, Meredith, Wallace, Tunnicliffe, Leonard, Marshall, Thompson, Gregory.

Subs: Archer, McLaughlin, Hutchinson, Williams, O'Brien, Elliott, Morison.
